Yoga DVD Review: Kundalini Yoga for Beginners & Beyond
Ana Brett Delivers Another Fun, Effective Yoga Session Rating:

Kundalini Yoga for Beginners & Beyond has been 1 of Amazon’s
best-selling yoga DVDs for awhile. Now I know why: Among its many attributes are upbeat instruction; an energetic soundtrack; and Matrix Menu that allows you to choose specific segments based on your mood and available time.
Now that’s what I’m talkin’ ’bout!
Yes, I’ve been a long-time yoga practioner. But there are days when my heels don’t touch the ground in Down Dog and it’s been awhile since I’ve done a headstand.
So now you have an idea of my flexibility.
Whether you’re a yoga newbie, or, like me, familiar with the poses, but creaky on some days, you can practice at your own pace and easily work up to beginner-intermediate level.
This DVD features two 25 minute sets which can be done individually or together, depending on how much time you have. The first set, “Rise and Spine”, features a series of poses designed to strengthen back muscles and improve posture. The second set is based on “The 5 Tibetan Rites”: a system of ancient exercises said to be a form of Tibetan yoga, and similar to the well-known yoga series that originated in India. These exercises, done in rapid-succession (the goal is to do 21 repetitions of each) rejuvenate mind, body and spirit.

Nice posting. Do you know about these kundalini books?
